I replicated a corner of a temple in my hometown Jingmen, China, in a ghost form. It is a shelter for abandoned statues from family shrines, for the reason that their owner changed beliefs. The statues are made of paper and salt, and lead to an alternative way to send away: they slowly melt and permeate inside the material cycle.
